Wrexham owner and Hollywood star Rob McElhenney is set to make a documentary based on the Enhanced Games, the proposed sporting competition for athletes who take performance-enhancing drugs.
Aron D’Souza is a successful businessman who has stated his intentions to organize the first Enhanced Games for next year.
This idea is divisive. World Athletics President Sebastian Coe has called it “bollocks”, while the World Anti-Doping Association calls it “dangerous” and “irresponsible.”
Some have embraced the concept. Former world champion Australian swimming James Magnussen said that he’d “juice up the gills,” to participate.
McElhenney now confirms he’ll be working on a documentary about this event.
