Fowles, who never won a national title, was named to the 2008 all-tournament squad for her performance at the Final Four in all four of her Final Four appearances. She ranked fourth for most single game rebounds (20), sixth for blocked shots in semifinals (5) and tied for sixth in the most blocked shot in a quarterfinal (5).

Fowles played 14 years in WNBA where she won two championships. She was a WNBA MVP (2017) and a two-time MVP of the finals.

She spent her career with the Chicago Sky, and the Minnesota Lynx have retired her number.
