Sunil Narine however had other ideas. Ishant Singh was beaten for 26 runs by Sunil Narine. In the first delivery, he drove it over mid-off to score his first six. Ishant sharma bowled short but Sunil Narine ripped it to another six. Ishant was only able to get a dotball out of the third delivery, which went for four. Sunil Narine finished the over, hitting another four and six.
Anrich Nortje, who is a DC player, gave the team a breakthrough in the 5th over by dismissing Salt. Narine, however, continued his onslaught despite this. He hit three fours and a six in the last over of the powerplay to finish a 21 ball fifty. KKR had 105/1 when this report was written.
