Fontainebleau has been attracting big names in recent years. They will now help Smashing Pumpkins fans in Vegas to see them this fall. Recently, the two-time Grammy Award winning band announced that they will be performing in North America for 2024. This includes a stop at BleauLive Theater within Fontainebleau Las Vegas. PVRIS will be performing at the show on Friday, September 27, 2024.
They continue to fire on all cylinders in concert. The Smashing pumpkins are still going strong live.
The shows of this band have always been greeted with a lot of critical applause. With a spectacular stage show, an impressive setlist that is arranged like a movie and moments of catharsis from heavy guitars and melodic songs to sing along to, they are consistently a hit. NME said, “it’s undisputed that this band is responsible for the ’90s best rock music, and it’s as good as they’re ever going to be.”
Meanwhile, The Patriot Ledger proclaimed, “Smashing Pumpkins proved they are still one of America’s most interesting – sometimes befuddling, but never boring – musical groups.” Miami New Times said, “the group took the audience to a time when alternative music was mainstream and browsing your phone while at a concert was bad science fiction satire.”
The band released the entire 33-track ATUM project last year. Rolling Stone said, “ATUM was clearly designed to require your attention. Act Three provides a trippy ending to the project and is an engaging listening experience.” NME gave this sci-fi inspired epic a “4/5 star” rating, raving that it was “ambitious, complex, and ambitious.”
