The High-A Lake County captains in Eastlake, Ohio wore blackout jerseys that they sold after the game. They sold merchandise with their logo featuring the captain wearing eclipse glasses.
Triple-A Rochester Red Wings changed their name to the Moon RocsThe alternate logo featured Spikes, their mascot in an astronaut’s suit holding an American flag. Moon Rocs was represented by a typographic space age mark which depicted the moon and sun as two O’s next to each other.
The Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs wore “Space Pigs,” specialized uniforms in Rochester, even though Allentown, Pennsylvania isn’t on the path. They wore their metallic pig in a suit of space armor on alternate jerseys during a game against the Moon Rocs in Rochester, April 5-7.
Today, more than 31 individuals along the path will see the eclipse. This begins shortly after 11:00am Pacific along Mexico’s Pacific coastline and continues until approximately 5:16pm Eastern Time as the eclipse leaves Newfoundland.
