Pandya led GT to the IPL championship in his two first seasons with the club. Last year Pandya was just one step from making history. Last year, the MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings prevented Gujarat from successfully defending their title in the Narendra Modi Stadium final.
Hardik Pandya has been unable to bring his team together, but this is also due to his players’ behavior. Pandya, who was alone in the dugout when Mumbai lost by 6 wickets last night in Wankhede and none of his team members, senior or junior, came to support him.
