Flutter UK & Ireland Cheryl Bosi has been appointed as the new Chief People Officer of the company.
Cheryl’s previous experience at HSBC UK where she led HR initiatives for 3 1/2 years, is a great asset.
With a staggering 14 million active customers and clients, and a workforce of approximately 22,000 employees nationwide, Cheryl’s expertise in HR leadership within large-scale and global organizations will undoubtedly enrich our operations here at Flutter UK & Ireland,” Flutter stated.
Cheryl’s reflection on her new position was:
It was the emphasis on team collaboration and individual flexibility, as well as customer-centric performance results, that really resonated with me. These elements can foster positive cultures and give a competitive advantage when they are executed well and guided by line managers who take initiative. The ambition, people-centric ethos, and vibrant culture at Flutter UK & Ireland immediately captured my attention. The gambling industry is a dynamic and exciting place to be. I’m excited to begin this journey, eager to learn new things. In addition, I’m committed to my own growth and to acquiring new skills. As well as leading an HR team that is pivotal to the commercial success of Flutter, I also want to lead a high-quality, top-tier human resources department. Flutter, which embraces the philosophy of having fun at work, is a perfect match for me.
Cheryl has held a number of notable roles before joining HSBC. She was the HR Director for Lloyds Banking Group’s retail bank, Scottish Widows Insurance and also contributed her expertise at Virgin Money.
