New polling conducted by Steve Cohen, owner of the New York Mets and Queens Future revealed that there is strong support for an $8 billion Metropolitan Park project in Senate District 13, which also includes a casino.

Cohen’s poll found that 31% are less inclined to vote for Ramos, if she is against the casino proposal. Only 14% said that they would be more likely support Ramos due to her opposition.
Explaining Discrepancies in Cohen, Ramos Polls
Comparatively to the traditional polls, online political polls are a much more accurate way of comparing candidates. There are two possible candidates When compared to one another, there is a huge gap between Cohen and Ramos.
It is because of the people who were surveyed. Slingshot surveyed for Ramos 423 respondents, who all resided in Senate district 13. The Cohen survey, on the other hand asked 600 Queens residents the question about casinos, but only 250 lived in the district.

Resorts World New York in Queens, currently a slots only venue, is said to be one the main contenders for the three permitted because it is already established. Genting has also pledged to invest $5 billion if the casino is allowed to become a Las Vegas type of venue.
Cohen Poll Timing
