The Cleveland Browns, according to several sources will be permanently replacing the brown mask on the orange helmets of their team with a white mask on April 17 and changing their logo.

Cleveland’s facemasks were originally white between 1975 and 1995. They also wore them when the franchise returned in 1999 to 2005. In those years, the primary logo of the Cleveland franchise also featured that design.
In 2006, as part their 60th year celebrations, the Browns changed to a grey facemask. The logo then changed, as it did in 2015 when they adopted a dark brown facemask.
Brown facemasks remained after Cleveland returned in 2020 to its classic styleThe Browns did wear a gray mask three times during 2021, as part of the “2021 Facemask Challenge”. Their 1946 throwback outfits.
In addition, they wore face masks in white during A win of 13-10 over Pittsburgh Steelers last November. With that win, fans cried louder for the facemasks in white to be used on a permanent basis.
The upcoming update has been teased since New Era unveiled the caps for the NFL Draft 2024 last monthThe only Browns cap available to purchase was the grayscale model.
The grayscale version would have a darker facemask while the one on the hat has a lighter version.
