Hardik Pandya received boos from Ahmedabad and Hyderabad crowd and it got even more louder when Mumbai Indians played the game at Wankhede Stadium on Monday (1st April). All-rounder Hardik Pandya was not well received by even the local crowd.
Hardik Pandya, apart from his treatment by fans, has not delivered as a captain and player for the Mumbai Indians. In his first three matches as captain, Mumbai Indians have lost every game. He has also failed to perform well both with the bat and the ball during IPL 2024.
Ambati Pandya was comforted by Ambati, a former Mumbai Indians player, after the team lost to Rajasthan Royals with 6-2. The Cricketer-turned-commentator walked to the MI skipper and cheered up Pandya, who looked dejected.

We need to be a bit more disciplined – Hardik Pandya after Mumbai’s loss to Rajasthan
Mumbai Indians were horrid in their game against Rajasthan Royals. When asked to bat, the Mumbai Indians were at 20/4. Hardik Varma (32), Tilak Pandya (34) made an important contribution, which helped them reach a total score of 125. The team took early wickets, but they were not able to hold on as there was little money in their account.
Hardik Pandya spoke about the difficult night that his team experienced and said they all believed in themselves. The team must be disciplined, he believes. He explained:
“Yes, it was tough, and we did not start as we wanted. My wicket was allowing them to come back into the game. I need to do much more.
Sometimes, results happen, sometimes they don’t. “As a group we think we could do better. But we have to show more courage and be more disciplined.”
Delhi Capitals is the next team to play Mumbai Indians. Both teams are scheduled to play on the 7th of April at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai
