Stephanie Neff of Lake in the Hills was arrested on charges of two counts of assault to an officer of the peace, as well as resisting the officer. Patch.

Refusing to leave
Neff tried to enter Rivers Casino Des Plaines around 1 am. The security guards refused to let her in because they said she was drunk. She refused to go and began arguing with the security guards.
Neff was asked to leave several times by the guards. The guards eventually called the police.
The officers went to the gambling property. The officers found Neff, and the security guards in the 3rd floor complex.
Police said she began screaming at the officers. Later, she said that she was leaving the casino to use ride-sharing services.
The officers escorted the woman to the Ridesharing Outside of the building. She refused to enter the vehicle, and began to walk toward the casino.
The security guards were arguing with her again at the entrance to the casino. She was asked to leave by officers again.
A police officer intervened after Neff she approached security guards.
Neff allegedly threatened to strike the officer. Patch reported. The police reported that she closed her fist, and then threw out her arm towards the officer. He was also said to have been struck with her chest.
Neff approached him again after the officer had pushed her. Neff is accused of assaulting the officer while he was in his arms.
There was a struggle. According to the P, officers tried to handcuff her but she refused.The itch.

She was then brought to heel and driven into a police vehicle nearby. She was seated in the rear seat by officers.
She then kicked both the sergeant as well as an officer who she assaulted previously, according to police.
She was then driven to the Des Plaines Police Department Headquarters.
The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office was entrusted with the prosecution of her case.
Her violent outbursts did not appear to have caused any serious injury to the officers or security guards.
