Suffolk police in New York state that on Easter Sunday, two masked men robbed the poker table at a Long Island house.

According to police, two masked suspects entered the home during a private poker game â the stakes and buy-ins are unknown â and stole cash, jewelry, cell phones, and other valuable items from the players.
As they left the residence, the two burglars shot unidentified individuals aged 38 and under who were entering the property at that time.
âAs the men were exiting the house through a side door, they encountered a man who was about to enter the house,â police said. âThe burglar with the handgun shot him twice.â

A report by News 12 in New York (an ABC affiliate) states that neighbors claim poker games are played weekly at the home burglarized. A neighbor claimed that one of the bullets struck her home.
It’s not the first incident of this kind to occur at that property. Two teens used knives and pellet guns to rob a poker tournament in the same home back in 2010. They were caught quickly.
