Nike released 14 new kits on Monday, March 18. Some will be playing in the 2024 Copa América, some will play in Euro 2024, and others will only wear them in friendlies for the foreseeable future as they don’t have a continental tournament coming up this summer.
In a press statement, Nike stated that its design teams had “taken a prismatic-based approach to refresh the color scheme of each federation”. Called ‘metaprism,’ this year’s approach takes traditional federation colors and augments them through the lens of light and movement. Each design pushed the federation colors in a unique way while maintaining each country’s aesthetic identity.
Nike’s latest release includes a number of kits. Here is a look at each one, and what Nike has to say about it:
???????? BRAZIL????????
The Brazil Home kit is adorned with an intricate pattern that celebrates Brazil’s rich natural heritage. Brazil is represented in the richly textured pattern against the yellow backdrop. From musical notes to Macaws, Sugarloaf Mountain and world-famous coastlines, Brazil is all over the kit.
Brazil 2024 Away Kit features a print inspired by local textiles and nature. For the first time in 2004 the CBF crest is featured on the center of the jersey. On the back of the jersey, players’ names are in a font inspired by Brazilian design and art.

The 2024 Home kit for Canada celebrates the sporting DNA of the country. The shirt’s two tone red features a rebranded Swoosh that was famous on Nike Hockey jerseys from the past.
Canada’s 2024 away kit pays tribute to Canada’s diversity, and its pioneers in the sport. The 13 pinstripes in the middle of the shirt represent all 10 provinces, three territories and the nation as a whole. The heritage Canada logo on the collar pays tribute to the 1986 Canadian football team, the first Canadian team to make its mark on the international stage.

The China 2024 Home kit features a bold, red color that makes the national flag pop out of the shirt’s center. The dragons on the national crest can be seen inside the collar.
The China Away kit takes inspiration from the importance given to the sky and heavenly world in Chinese philosophy. Meanwhile, a new color combination is used on the collar and the cuffs. The collar features the dragons of the national crest.

The Croatia 2024 Home Kit gives a bold update to the team’s red and white checks. Larger squares help form the Croatian flag. The collar is a tribute to national loyalty, with a logo that announces Obitelj (“Family”) and the ribbed collar adding even more style.
The Croatia Away kit 2024 features slanted chevrons that pay homage the heroes of 1998. The return of blue matches the shades found on the crest as well as the national flag.
ENGLAND
The England Home kit 2024 is a modern interpretation of a classic. The trim on the sleeves is inspired by England’s 1966 training gear. It features a gradient between blues, reds, and purple.
The England 2024 Away Kit recreates iconic national kits, but with a contemporary twist. The away shirt, which is a departure from tradition, is a vibrant purple to reflect a youthful spirit on and off the field. The graphic side panel features seven different colours and pays homage to a forward-thinking nation’s style. It also highlights the flag of St. George, which is on the collar.

The France 2024 Home Kit pays tribute to the greats from the team’s history. The oversized crest at the front of shirt pays homage to the diverse French teams from the 1980s who united a nation.
