1. Brock Bowers, Georgia, 2024
As the The greatest tight ends in college football.Bowers is a clear choice at the top of this list. He could be the greatest tight-end prospect in NFL drafts history.
Three-time All-American, and two-time John Mackey award winner, he has no obvious weaknesses in his game. His only weakness is his size which is below average for the position. He’s an extremely versatile chess player with strong hands and elite after-the catch ability.

2. Colston Loveland, Michigan, 2025
Loveland grew from a promising tight end as a freshman to one the nation’s top tight ends by his sophomore year. He was ranked as the fourth-most valued FBS tight end in this past season. PFF wins above average metricThe fifth-ranked receiver in yards (649) was.
Loveland, at 6’5″ and 245 lbs, is nearly impossible to defend. His 2023 88.7% rate of open-targets placed him at the 97th per centile among college football tight end. Expect him to be projected as a first-round pick at the 2025 NFL Draft.

3. Ja’Tavion Sanders, Texas, 2024
Sanders is an oversized receiver at 6’4″ and 245 lbs. Sanders’ explosiveness at that size makes linebackers a poor match. His 78% separation since 2022 puts him in the 86th per centile of tight ends.

4. Mitchell Evans, Notre Dame, 2025
Evans was playing like a top tight end in the country until he tore his ACL after only eight games. His 422 receiving yardage ranked fourth in college football among tight ends before he went down. The only tight ends with more yards were Dallin Holker, Brock Bowers The following are some examples of how to get started: Cade Stover — all among the top seven tight end prospects on PFF’s big board for the 2024 NFL Draft. Evans’ 10 forced missed tackles during that span were second only to Bowers among FBS Tight Ends.
The junior finished the year 2023 with an average receiving grade of 83.7, placing him seventh. He excelled when it came to finding the weak spots against zone coverage. His 97.3 receiving grade was in the 96th centile. Evans, if he can regain his pre injury form, will be the ultimate security blanket to the new Notre Dame QB Riley Leonard in 2019.

5. Cade Stover, Ohio State, 2024
Stover is a fundamentally sound and athletic tight end. He is a solid blocker. His positive run-blocking rating since 2022 has him in the 80th per centile. He has dropped only two targets out of 100 over the past two years, and he is a top tight end prospect for the 2024 NFL Draft.

6. Ben Sinnott, Kansas State, 2024
Sinnott is a top athlete. He tested in the 97th per centile of tight ends. Kent Lee Platte‘s Relative Sports Score. The former walk-on had a Second-team All-Americans in the PFF This past season, his 167 receiving yard after contact trailed only Brock Bowers among Power Five tight ends. Sinnott, like Bowers can line up anywhere and succeed.

7. Jack Velling, Michigan State, 2025
Velling is the head coach Jonathan Smith’s successor Oregon State You can also find out more about the following: Michigan State. Veiling tied for the lead in receiving touchdowns in 2023 with eight tight ends in college football. Last season, Veiling’s 13 catches of more than 15 yards ranked him eighth among Power Five Tight Ends.

8. Benjamin Yurosek, Georgia, 2025
Yurosek’s Stanford receiving grade for 2022 dropped nearly 15 points (from 79.9 to 65.5), and he missed six games in 2023 due to a shoulder injury.
But he deserves to be included on this list because of what he did as a sophomore. In 2021 he was named an PFF First-Team All-Pac-12 Honoree, and ranked fourth in the Power Five tight ends after the catch with 335 yards. Yurosek, despite a couple of lackluster seasons, has 1,338 receiving yardage since 2021. He is the leading returning tight end in college football. The only three tight ends with more yards in that span are Brock BowersMichael Mayer and Dalton Kincaid. After dealing one of the worst quarterback scenarios at StanfordYurosek is going to be catching the passes of Carson Beck, the top returning signal caller in the country, next year.

9. Caden Prieskorn, Ole Miss, 2025
Prieskorn missed three games in the 2023 season due to a knee injury. Memphis Transfer finally showed why he had been so highly coveted on the portal. Prieskorn’s receiving yards jumped to 449 in Week 4 and were the ninth highest among college football tight ends. Since 2022, Prieskorn has 1,051 yards receiving and 527 yards after catching. Both of these numbers rank him fourth among FBS’ tight ends.
He saved his best plays for the Peach Cup against No. 10 Penn State, who caught 10 of his eleven targets for 136yards and two touchdowns as the Rebels won.

10. Theo Johnson, Penn State, 2024
Johnson is an exceptional athlete. His test scores are above the 99th percentile. Kent Lee Platte‘s relative athletic score. These freakish tools make him an extremely dangerous vertical threat. His seven receiving touchdowns ranked third among college football tight end players in 2023. He is also an excellent blocker, especially for someone of his size. Johnson is still developing but has a very high ceiling.

2026 Prospective to Know: Benjamin Brahmer, Iowa State
Brahmer played a very well rounded game during his first season in college. The former 3-star recruit led all true-freshman tight ends in receiving yardage (352) during the past season. His 68.4 rating for run blocking ranked 11th out of all Power Five tight end. Brahmer is a 6-foot-7 target that will be a challenge to throw to. He’s a prospect to watch for the next few seasons.
